Do you struggle with instructional control? Are your clients not achieving their skill-building goals? From switching to online therapy during the pandemic, I learned this platform gives you quick access to all of the images, gifs, sounds, and videos of your clients' favorite interests, and this is a game changer! Even for in-person therapy, using computer resources during your sessions can help with organization, focus, and built-in reinforcers. For example... perhaps your client has a letter tacting program. ( VB-MAPP: Level 3 Reading 13) Using vivid colors and transitions between slides in PowerPoint can make this boring task more interesting.
Now to knock their socks off... add a slide with a gif of their favorite thing every few slides, and they will love it. For instance, if you are working with a four-year-old with ASD who adores Elmo, add a slide with a gif or 10-second video clip of Elmo on every fourth slide. This reinforces attending and pairs working on letter tacting with Elmo.
I created a PowerPoint slideshow with colorful letters and fun transitions with a "randomize" button that is available on Classful. You can access it at
Just add extra slides with gifs of your client's favorite characters.
